Another enticing creative venture has recently pulled into the Blue Collar Garage. We propped up the hood, dove in head-first and are now eager to unveil our work with Legacy / GoHealth Urgent Care centers in the Portland area.
For this new breed of contemporary urgent care facilities, our challenge was to create a campaign strategy with a distinctly Portland feel.
The specs:
- Maintain the professionalism and serious nature of healthcare
- Resonate regionally
- Stand above the drab medical marketing crowd
GoHealth Urgent Care is a fresh take on the worn out, devastatingly arduous task of getting urgent care. So it started with some good, simple copy highlighting just that: “They make it easy for people to get in, get looked at, and get on their way.”
The cornerstone of this project, for us was creating a campaign to stand up and parallel their redefined health care tactics, and so we needed some solid visuals to rise to the challenge.
Inspiration for this stemmed from a good look at the proud quirkiness that’s so quintessentially PDX. Portland marches to the beat of its own drum; Voodoo Doughnuts shows us that, the seething, hollering crowd piling into every Timbers game shows us that, and a market that supports a redefined urgent care facility shows us that.
We melded those convictions with a bright, friendly color scheme, human-centric photography, and slightly off-the-wall compositions to craft an undoubtedly Portland, seriously medical campaign that resonates across a myriad of platforms.
From print to transit to digital to billboards to social, these images—shot by the talented Nicolle Clemetson—stand up to the challenge and definitely stand out. The pieces we created for radio are even more far reaching. Check out some of the work on Facebook and Instagram.
Working on the cutting edge of a field is exciting–GoHealth is of the first urgent medical facilities to be crafting a welcome environment for all. Because GoHealth is treading into new terrain, that means its campaign strategy has to push new frontiers too. We can redefine what tired medical marketing looks like and make it friendly, personable, and still professional. Win!
